Event Management Panel Help

This guide covers all features, options, and best practices for creating, editing, filtering, and managing all sporting events in the Event Management panel.

Introduction

The Event Management panel is your central hub for organizing and tracking all events. Only users with appropriate administrative roles can access this panel. You can view event details, manage participants, access dashboards, export data, and perform quick actions for each event.

  • Create/Edit/Delete Events: Add new events, update details, or remove events (if no participants are assigned).
  • Filter & Search: Instantly filter events by status, sport discipline, or search by name/location.
  • Summary Stats: See total events, upcoming events, open registrations, and total participants at a glance.
  • Event Cards: Each event card shows key info, status, time, stats, and quick action buttons.
  • Quick Actions: Edit, view dashboard, manage participants, view scoreboards, export start lists, assign judges, and more.
  • Export/Share: Download start lists as CSV/JSON, copy public or live board links, and access reports.
  • Dropdown Actions: Access public dashboards, live boards, start lists, categories, judges, reports, scoring, and results.

How do I create a new event?
Click the Create New Event button at the top right. Fill in the required details and save.
How do I filter or search for events?
Use the search box, status dropdown, or sport discipline dropdown to filter the event list. Click Apply Filters to update the results.
What do the event status and time badges mean?
Status badges show the event's registration or progress state (draft, open, closed, completed). Time badges indicate if the event is past, today, or upcoming.
How do I manage participants for an event?
Use the Participants button on the event card to view and manage participants for that event.
How do I access dashboards, scoreboards, or reports?
Use the Dashboard, Scoreboard, or Reports buttons in the event card or dropdown menu for quick access.
How do I export start lists or share event links?
Use the dropdown menu on the event card to export start lists as CSV/JSON or copy public/live board links.
Can I delete an event?
You can only delete events that have no participants assigned. The delete option will appear in the dropdown for eligible events.
Why do I see 0 participants or missing stats?
Participant and heat stats are updated as you add or remove participants and configure heats. If you see 0, check if participants have been assigned.
What are the panel sections?
Header with title and create button, summary stats cards, filters for searching, events grid with cards showing details and actions.
