Introduction

The Edit Scoring Format panel allows administrators to fully customize how a scoring format works for a given sport or event. You can change the name, sport, mode, judge settings, scoring scale, criteria, rounds, results, flow, tiebreaks, mode-specific configuration, and diversity rules. This is the most advanced configuration panel for scoring logic.

  • Edit Basic Info: Change the format name, associated sport, scoring mode, and activation status.
  • Judge Configuration: Set minimum/maximum judges, scale type (numeric/custom), scale range or custom values, decimal precision, and drop rule.
  • Scoring Criteria: Add, edit, or remove criteria that judges will score (e.g., technique, artistry, execution).
  • Rounds: Define rounds, number of runs, and aggregation method (best, average, sum, etc.).
  • Results Table: Set the headers for the results table and preview the output.
  • Competition Flow: Define the stages of the competition (e.g., qualification, finals).
  • Tiebreak Rules: Add rules for resolving ties.
  • Mode Configuration: Advanced settings for mode-specific logic (sections, attempts, runs, etc.).
  • Diversity Rules: Set rules to enforce variety or prevent duplicates in figure-based sports.
  • Delete Format: Permanently remove the format (with confirmation).
  • Reset: Discard unsaved changes and reload the form.
  • Save: Save all changes to the format.
